The Tana River mangabey lives only along the lower Tana River in southeastern Kenya, where riverine forest occurs in patches. Its pale gray-brown fur, black face, and white eyebrows stand out. It eats fruits and seeds and sleeps in forks of tall trees.
Its fur is pale gray to brown, with a black face and strongly contrasting white eyebrows.
It feeds mainly on fruit and seeds and may travel farther between forest patches when food is scarce. At night it sleeps in forks of tall, leafy trees.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
