The Kidepo Lark lives in dry grassland around north-eastern Uganda. It searches for insects on the ground, and a rufous panel shows on the wing in flight.
It has brown, scaly-looking upperparts, black spots at the sides of the chest, and a rufous wing panel.
In dry, open savanna it feeds on the ground, taking termites and other insects, and may chase flying insects. Its whistles vary and can include mimicry.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
