The Yellow-billed Duck is an African duck with a bright yellow bill marked by a black patch.
The body is brownish gray, and pale feather edges give it a scaled look. In flight, a green wing patch with white edges is visible.
It uses open water, slow-flowing rivers, estuaries, and lakes, and may also use ponds and reservoirs. It eats aquatic plants, seeds, and aquatic insects, and may move short distances.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
