The Montagne d’Ambre Mouse Lemur is a small lemur known from the Montagne d’Ambre area of northwestern Madagascar. Its back mixes red and gray tones, while the underside is white to cream.
The dorsal fur mixes dark brown, red and gray. A dark stripe runs down the back to the tail base, the head is mostly reddish, and the underside is white to cream with gray undertones.
The species is reported from montane rainforest around Montagne d’Ambre. The paper’s genus-level account describes mouse lemurs generally as nocturnal and solitary or living in small family groups.
