The Carunculated Fruit Dove was rediscovered on Obi in the North Moluccas. It has been recorded feeding on figs there.
Observed birds had a greyish-white head, yellow bill, orange fleshy forehead wattles, dark green back and wings, and a purple belly patch.
On 14 August 2011, about 15 birds fed in a 15–20 m fig tree in young secondary forest and stayed near the tree for more than 1 hour.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
