The Unicolored Antwren occurs in the Atlantic Forest of eastern Brazil. It searches leaves for food and also probes creases in dead foliage for small arthropods.
The paper places this species in the plain-winged group and describes males in that group as basically all grey, without markings on the wing-coverts.
Field observations in eastern Brazil found it inspecting leaves for small moths and caterpillars, and probing folds in dead leaves for arthropods. It often travelled in pairs or family groups of up to four.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
