Tickell's Leaf Warbler breeds in the Himalayas and nearby regions, then moves south to South Asia and Myanmar for the non-breeding season.
Adults of the nominate subspecies have olive-green upperparts, with a bright-yellow supercilium and underparts.
It searches for invertebrates near the ground. In the breeding season it uses open alpine scrub; in winter it also occurs in old cultivation, gardens, and secondary woodland.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
