The Selangor Silvery Langur occurs along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Adults have dark gray fur with a silvery sheen, black facial skin, hands and feet, and long straight gray whiskers. Its classification within the silvered langur group has changed and remains treated differently by some authors.
The coat is dark gray with a silvery sheen. The skin of the face, hands, and feet is black; the gray whiskers are long and straight. The adult face lacks clear pale eye rings.
It inhabits coastal and riverine habitats along western Peninsular Malaysia. The species page includes photographs captioned as a secondary riverine habitat and an animal feeding on young leaf shoots. These are examples, not a range-wide behavioral study.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
