The Horned Puffin is a black-and-white seabird with an orange-and-yellow bill in breeding adults. It nests on rocky cliffs and spends winter far offshore in the Pacific.
Breeding adults have an orange-and-yellow bill and small fleshy spikes above the eyes that look like horns. Their plumage is black and white.
It dives for small fish and carries them crosswise in its bill to feed its chicks. Nests are usually placed on coastal cliffs or in rock crevices.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
