Wilson's Bird-of-paradise is a bird whose adult male has vivid colors and curved central tail feathers. It lives in hill forest on Waigeo and Batanta in Indonesia.
The male has bare blue skin on the crown, yellow and crimson plumage, iridescent green underparts, blue legs, and sickle-shaped central tail feathers. The female is dull brown above with dark bars on her light-brown underparts.
It eats fruit and arthropods. A male clears a display court on the ground and uses postures and movements to show his cape, head, tail feathers, and mouth to females.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
