Locustella timorensis was surveyed on Timor and Alor. During brief observations on Alor, birds moved near the ground through dense undergrowth.
Brief direct observations on Alor described a relatively large, buff-brown warbler with a long tail.
On Alor, birds walked or scurried near the ground among thin shrub and grass stems in dense understorey.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
