The Inyo Shrew is a small shrew of mountain ranges from eastern California through Nevada to western Utah. It has been recorded near streams and in damp canyon bottoms.
The upperparts are pale ash gray, the underside and feet are white, and the tail is bicolored, dark above and white below.
It is usually found in shaded, damp places near flowing water, including canyon bottoms and sites beneath boulders or logs. Direct data on its diet and activity are limited, so this account does not state a definite feeding pattern.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
