The Kashmir Flycatcher is a small flycatcher that moves between breeding and wintering areas. Males have orange underparts; females show a fainter orange wash on the chest.
Males are gray above and bright orange below. Females are paler, with only a faint orange wash on the chest. Both show white panels at the sides of the black tail.
On the breeding grounds it uses forest with dense undergrowth in the northwestern Himalayas and searches low foliage and the ground for insects. In winter it moves to hill forests in South Asia and may use forest edges, orchards, and gardens.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
