The white-winged dog-like bat has white wings beyond the forearm and ears joined above the forehead. Its biology is still poorly known.
The wings are white beyond the forearm and attach to the feet at the metatarsals. A band of skin joins the ears above the forehead.
Two females were caught in Colombia's Meta River floodplain forest, and three bats thought to be the same species were seen in a nearby horizontal rotten log.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
