This small bat is known from few records and is distinguished by its long upper canines. The original description was based on specimens from Laos and Vietnam.
The forearm is reported as 35.2–38.4 mm, and the conspicuously long upper canines help distinguish it from related bats.
Known capture sites include lowland evergreen forest beside a broad river in Laos and lowland dipterocarp forest in Vietnam. The sources do not establish detailed foraging or roosting behavior.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
