The Four-striped Ground Squirrel has four black stripes on its back and orange underparts. It lives on Borneo and is active by day on the forest floor.
Four black stripes run along the back; the middle pair is separated by a buff line, and pale lines separate the inner and outer stripes. The underparts are orange.
It is diurnal and terrestrial. It has been recorded in tall and secondary forests, but its distribution is patchy. A separate field study describes it as highly forest-dependent.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
