The Giant Grey Shrike is a large shrike of the eastern Tibetan Plateau. It is treated separately from the Chinese Gray Shrike and may move to lower elevations in winter.
It has dark gray upperparts, white underparts, and a black mask. White patches in the wing and tail are especially conspicuous in flight.
It breeds in high, open shrubland, including stunted rhododendron, and often uses tall exposed perches. It may descend to lower elevations in winter.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
