The White-faced Robin was studied in tropical rainforest at Iron Range on Cape York, northern Australia. In the banding study, most recaptures were close to the release site, and some marked birds were encountered again as late as 18 years later.
The Iron Range banding paper reports that male and female plumage cannot be distinguished. It does not provide a detailed color description or a juvenile account.
In banding from 1990 to 2008 at Iron Range, most recaptures were at or within 1 km of the original site, and one bird was recaptured 18 years later. These are marked-bird records, not a lifespan maximum or a population-wide survival estimate.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
