The Jungle Babbler is a social bird of the Indian subcontinent, often found foraging in cultivated areas and gardens.
It has brownish-grey plumage and a yellow bill.
In a study of breeding groups, territory size contracted by about 78%, and groups foraged close to the nest. This describes breeding behaviour in the study population.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
