A softtail known from seasonally flooded forest in the southern Orinoco Delta of Venezuela. Fine pale streaks mark its back and underparts.
The crown and nape are dark rufescent brown; the reddish-brown upperparts and brown underparts have fine buff streaks.
It was documented in seasonally flooded forest along rivers and streams in the southern Orinoco Delta.
