Reddish Brown

The Leonberger standard lists lion yellow, red, reddish brown and sandy shades, with a black mask. The Bavarian Mountain Scent Hound standard lists deep red, deer red, reddish brown, tan and lighter fawn-to-biscuit shades; the back is generally more intense and the muzzle and ears are dark. The Boerboel parent-club standard also names Reddish Brown. These are breed-specific examples, not one shared shade boundary.
