The black-shanked douc is a douc langur found in forests of southern Vietnam and eastern Cambodia. It spends most of its time in trees and feeds mainly on leaves.
The lower legs are typically black and the face blue-gray, although reddish legs have been reported in some populations.
It is mostly arboreal but sometimes comes to the ground. Leaves are the main food, with the amount of seeds, fruit and flowers varying by site.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
