The long-footed tree shrew is a small mammal of Borneo's forests. It moves quickly over leaf litter while searching for small prey.
Its coat is dull brown, with a faint yellow shoulder stripe and a rather slender tail.
At Poring and Danum Valley in Sabah, adults were observed keeping same-sex ranges separate, and most identified sleeping sites were underground burrows.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
