The Negros Fruit Dove is a fruit-eating pigeon known from a single female collected on Negros Island in the Philippines in 1953. No later record has definitively confirmed the species.
The female specimen had dark green plumage, an ashy-grey forehead, and a bare yellow ring around the eye. Its throat was white and its undertail and vent were yellow; yellow feather fringes looked like a wing bar when it was perched.
The specimen was collected from a fruiting tree, alongside another bird suspected to be its mate. Nothing else is known about its behavior.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
