Clark's Nutcracker is a corvid of western North American mountains. It carries conifer seeds and caches them in the ground.
It is gray with black-and-white markings on its wings and tail. Its slender bill helps it extract seeds from pine cones.
It carries pine seeds in a pouch in its throat and buries them in many places. Seeds left behind may germinate.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
