A small triller of open woodland and lowland forest in Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
The male is black and white, with a very narrow white eyebrow and white wing markings. The female has a brown back and is more subdued.
It forages in trees and on the ground in open lowland and foothill woodland, and may perch on exposed branches.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
