Daurian Starlings were recorded several times in Myanmar's Hkakabo Razi Landscape. A 2025 paper compiled audio-visual bird observations made across Myanmar from 2010 to 2023 and treated the species' records as a range extension to that landscape. One listed locality is Makhwunkan village in the north of the country.
The paper's table includes a Makhwunkan village record dated 30 April 2012. The authors note that the species had rarely been recorded in Myanmar before.
