Sclater's guenon is a small monkey known for its complex facial pattern and long tail. It occurs in floodplain forests between the Niger and Cross rivers in southeastern Nigeria.
Its body is dusky gray with a greenish tinge on the back. The face has yellow-and-black hair patches, a white spot above the nose, and white ear tufts; the long tail ends in black.
In Lagwa, Imo State, the monkeys were reported to inhabit villages and take food from gardens and farms after the forest patches they had used were cleared.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
