Neill's Leopoldamys is a murid rodent associated with limestone karsts and caves in Thailand. A study of samples from 28 sites found four broad population groups within the country: west, central, north, and northeast.
The tail is basically dark, with dark color along the upper side for about two-thirds of its length. The contrast with the white is not vivid.
It lives in Thailand's limestone karsts and uses caves. In a study of 225 animals from 28 sites, even geographically close groups showed strong genetic differentiation.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
