The Palau Flying Fox has been studied on the Palau Islands. Field work there reported bats roosting in forest and leaving after sunset to feed on fruits, flowers, and other plant foods.
An older guide describes the mariannus group, which included this taxon under an earlier classification, as having a pale yellow mantle, blackish back, and dark brown underparts with scattered silver hairs.
The Palau study recorded roosts in forest, with bats resting alone or in small groups and foraging from evening into the night for fruit, flowers, and leaves.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
