The Thick-billed Flowerpecker ranges from the Indian subcontinent into Southeast Asia. This small bird takes fruit and nectar with its thick bill and forages in tree canopies and village groves.
It is about 10 cm long, with a short tail and a noticeably thick dark bill. The account describes gray-brown upperparts and pale streaking below.
It forages in the canopy for figs, berries, nectar, spiders and insects. After eating mistletoe fruit, it may wipe the sticky seed onto a branch. The account describes a hanging pouch nest and clutches of 2–4 eggs.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
