This subtly patterned bird occurs in eastern and central North America in summer. It moves slowly through high deciduous branches to find caterpillars; its rolling song often gives it away.
It has gray-olive upperparts, white underparts with a faint yellow wash, and a pale stripe over the eye. Its plumage is otherwise fairly plain.
In summer it searches methodically through leaves high in deciduous trees, catching caterpillars and other insects. Its rollicking song can help observers locate it.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
