The Noronha Vireo is a small bird confined to the main island of Fernando de Noronha off Brazil. A paper including field observations from 1973 recorded it in wooded and scrubby areas, but not in the cleared center.
The front of the back and the crown are brownish, unlike the green crown of its continental relatives. In fresh plumage the lower back, rump, and flight-feather edges are green. It has a slim bill and relatively long tail.
It feeds on small arthropods, often searching the undersides of leaves while hanging upside down, and also takes some small fruit. The paper suggests it may be sedentary, based on historical observations.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
