The Barolo Shearwater is a small seabird that breeds on islands. This entry follows the baroli form that breeds in the Azores and other Macaronesian islands.
The upperparts are dark and the underside is white, with a thin black edge along the wings. The eye is usually surrounded by white.
At sea it takes small fish, crustaceans, and cephalopods below the surface or by diving. It breeds in cliff galleries or rock crevices.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
