Hose's langur is a diurnal leaf monkey of Bornean forests. Its gray back, pale underside, and dark cheek band are distinctive.
Its upperparts are grayish, its underside is pale, and a dark band crosses the pinkish face at the cheeks.
It is active by day in the canopy and eats leaves and seeds. The account also records visits to natural mineral sources on the ground. In Sabah and Brunei, groups are often 6–8, usually with one adult male and at least two adult females; groups of 12 or more are reported in Temburong.
