Presbytis mitrata is a monkey of southern Sumatra. It feeds mainly on leaves and is arboreal. Its coat varies, so individuals do not all look alike.
The face is black and the underside is pale. Coat colors range from brown and auburn to silvery tones, and the tail is long and slender.
The species profile describes an arboreal, diurnal langur eating leaves, unripe fruit, flowers, and seeds. A paper published in 2018 surveyed a population in riparian forest at Mengkarang Purba Geopark, Jambi, under the former subspecies name mitrata.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
