This cuscus has a dark stripe down its back and a tail suited for gripping branches. It searches for fruit at night and can climb.
Its coat ranges from gray-brown to silver-gray, with a dark stripe along the middle of its back. The sparsely furred lower part of its tail has small bumps that help it grip.
It rests in dens such as ground holes or caves and is almost entirely nocturnal. It mainly forages for fruit on low branches, but also eats leaves, seeds, and eggs.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
