This tube-nosed bat is recorded in China. The University of Bristol China account describes its coat, nose shape, and Chinese habitat records.
The back is reddish brown to brownish gray with white hairs mixed in. The underside is paler, the tail is hairy, and the nostrils form short tubes.
The China account reports foraging in forests and open areas, and roosting in caves, tree hollows, and buildings. Detailed life history remains poorly known.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
