The Kon Tum Tube-nosed Bat is known from Ngoc Linh Nature Reserve in central Vietnam. Its documented natural history is based on a single specimen.
It has a dark mask-like pattern on the face and a white neck collar. The back is brownish gray with scattered golden hairs, and the underside is light brown.
The only specimen was collected during a 2014 survey in evergreen highland forest at about 1,700 m in the Ngoc Linh mountains. This single record does not describe its full habitat use or behavior.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
