A white T-shaped stripe across the face makes this monkey distinctive. It lives in bamboo-rich forests and forms small groups.
Adult fur is olive-gray or black, with a cream-white stripe running down the nose and across the brow in a T shape.
It is active by day, uses both the ground and trees, and lives in small groups. It eats bamboo shoots and leaves as well as fruit.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
