The Xinjiang Ground-Jay is a ground-dwelling corvid of arid Xinjiang. It has a pale body and long tail and searches for food on foot.
Its body is pale and sandy, with black-and-white wing markings. A dark moustache-like mark crosses the face, and the tail is long.
It walks through sparse scrub in dry country, searching for invertebrates and small reptiles. It often travels on foot rather than by flying.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
