The Gray Whistler is a small bird with a grayish back and pale underparts.
It is grayish above and pale below. In the Northern Territory's Top End the back is slightly browner, while in north Queensland it is more greenish gray.
It forages fairly low in dense vegetation, including mangroves, wetter forests, and swampy woodlands.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
