This bat is described in Argentina with pale yellowish fur and large ears joined by a membrane. The local account says it roosts in caves or buildings and eats insects.
Its fur is soft, dense, and pale yellowish. The belly hairs are dark at the base and whitish at the tips; the ears exceed 30 mm and are connected by a band.
In Argentina it uses caves and houses as roosts, either alone or in colonies that can number thousands. Its diet is insectivorous.
