The Sandhill Grasswren is an Australian grasswren. Clements treated it as a species distinct from the related Pilbara Grasswren in 2024 and recognizes subspecies aenigma on the western Eyre Peninsula.
Adult males have cream to buff flanks. Females have a rufous patch on the front of the flanks.
A Western Australian government report says the nominate subspecies A. o. oweni inhabits sandy areas with spinifex, preferring tall, dense hummocks; shrubs or scattered trees may also occur.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
