This bush warbler is recorded in the mountains of Luzon. A rediscovery account describes several singing birds in steep grassy valleys and a rapidly repeated, metallic-sounding song.
Birds observed at the 2000 rediscovery site were described as brown-faced, with grayish breast and flanks and pale mottling on the upper breast.
The report describes a short, metallic-sounding song repeated in about five phrases over two seconds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
