This bat was described from Kenya. It has a dark-brown back and greyish underparts; specimens were collected in a crevice among granite boulders and near acacia trees.
In the specimens described by HMW, the back is dark brown, the head darker, and the rump paler. The underparts are greyish, and the dark wings have a narrow white edge.
HMW reports the type specimen from a crevice among large granite boulders; another specimen was collected at dusk near acacia trees. These are collection records, not general evidence of roosting or feeding behavior.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
