The crest-tailed mulgara is a small marsupial of arid central Australia. A black tuft marks its tail.
Its fur ranges from tan to ginger, and a crest of black hair marks the tail.
It eats insects and small reptiles and mammals. It gets water from food and limits water loss in urine and droppings.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
