The Slender Yellow Bat is a small bat recorded in Mexico. Current taxonomic references use Baeodon gracilis for the taxon previously called Rhogeessa gracilis.
Measurements reported from Jalisco specimens include a forearm of about 3.3 cm, ears about 1.8 cm, and total length about 8.4–8.9 cm.
In Jalisco, bats were captured over streams running through pine-oak and oak forest. A pregnant individual was recorded in May. The material reviewed here does not establish its diet or day-roost sites.
