An open-ocean petrel with brownish-grey upperparts and white underparts. It breeds in burrows on offshore Bermuda islets.
It has brownish-grey upperparts, dark forehead and eye area, white throat and belly, and long narrow wings.
It spends most of its life over the open ocean, eating small squid, fish, and shrimp. It returns to burrows on offshore islands to breed.
