The White-browed Jungle Flycatcher lives in mountain forest on northern Luzon. It has an olive-brown back, rusty tail and flanks, and a white lower belly, and uses the forest understory.
The sexes are alike: the head and back are dark olive-brown, the tail and wing edges rusty, the flanks orange-rufous, and the lower belly white.
It inhabits the understory of montane or mossy forest above 950 m, chiefly above 1,400 m, and has also been recorded in second growth beside oak-dominated primary forest.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
